All breads are homemade and prepared in Switzerland. We pride ourselves on artisanal craftsmanship using locally sourced ingredients where possible.

We usually order vegetable rice and dal tarka (medium-spiced Indian style). The food is excellent, healthy, and exceptionally flavorful. The chef is a true professional, and the hygiene is exemplary. A top-quality restaurant in the canton of Bern. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dining experience at India Village in Interlaken. The food was absolutely delicious and had authentic Indian flavors that reminded us of home. We tried the Butter Chicken and Shahi Paneer, and both dishes were rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. If you’re looking for desi flavor in Switzerland, this is the place to go. Unlike many Indian restaurants abroad, the spices here aren’t toned down—the food is prepared with authentic Indian taste, making every bite truly satisfying. What made our visit even more special was the warm hospitality. The owner, Rupinder, and his wife were incredibly kind, welcoming, and took great care of us throughout the meal, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian food in Interlaken. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Switzerland!

the food here was really tasty and clean (not overly dressed in cream). we enjoyed our time here. the people are kind and served us well as we enjoyed our meal. the food tastes a lot more authentic - Indian - than it does in other places. the daal makhni is very good - goes well with their garlic naan and sada chawal. a really sweet and friendly family runs the place.

We got the butter chicken and Malabar fish curry. The chicken was so tender and the fish was nice and flaky. The spices and flavors were just what we were looking for. Our server Maneka was awesome. She was patient and understanding as we wavered between the many delicious options, and she made some good recommendations. It is pricey but it is Switzerland and nothing beats the beautiful view and fresh, quality ingredients. They were dealing with a lot of different customers and competing requests and nonetheless everything came out in a timely manner. They even offered to provide transportation back to our hotel. If you’re craving authentic Indian food in Interlaken, definitely consider making the trek to India Village. It’ll be worth it!

What a food? I never eat this type of delicious food in my life. We were there for 9 days in June 2026 and couldn't eat anything outside because we wanted to eat whole menu in 9 days. Every single dish was tasty then last dish. Specially thanks for whole team for there hospitality. They are crazy to make their guests happy.
