“We were a group of 8 & we experienced phenomenal food for 3 days; food was just too good; all dishes we had were simply superb stuff, a word of caution is like all other places in Europe they too charge for water n onions too. View from the hotel is just awesome;12 mins walk from the Interlaken ost (East) station.Courtesy extended by the owner Rupinder Singh was of the ultimate level wherein he dropped us all with luggage to the station on our checkout, waah Paaji dil jeet liya aapne!!??????????”

“The food here was really good! The coconut chicken curry and the paneer makhanwala were perfectly spiced and flavorful. This was the perfect place to get a nice, hot meal after being in the cold rain. While the food was to die for, the service was outstanding; they should win awards for their service alone. Shout out Rupinder, the owner, who graciously drove us to the train station in the rain, which was extremely nice as we weren't even hotel guests. If I were to come back to Interlaken 100 times, I would go to the India Village Restaurant 300 times because I would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”

“Although I did not stay directly at this property, I had the pleasure of experiencing their incredible hospitality. I was staying at an adjacent place, but the hosts here went out of their way to help me and my elderly parents. Twice, they kindly offered us a ride to the train station, which is about a kilometer away. This thoughtful gesture made our travel so much easier and truly reflects their courtesy, kindness, and dedication to service. “Found this gem of a restaurant in a quiet and peaceful area of Interlaken. The staff were so attentive, kind and helpful. Very beautifully located amidst the mountains. We had excellent paneer lababdar and black dal and wanted to meet the chef to thank him for the lovely food he served us. The food here is extremely flavourful and the spices used delicately remjnded me of India. It was such a pleasure meeting the head chef Rupinder singh, he actually came and dropped us to our hotel as we had to walk back 20 minutes to get back. Their manager and the server were both extremely courteous and polite and helped us with their recommendations. Thank you India village for such a fabulous experience.”

“A nice surprise a little further away from the center but nonetheless close enough! I found the restaurant suggested by Trip Advisor review as a nearby restaurant. The food was simple but tasty.
